This place suits me perfectly with great wi-fi, free parking, and a lovely restaurant. I remember when the kind staff helped me find my lost car keys during my first stay. Highly recommend it for a cozy Christmas return!

The en-suite was cramped with a tiny wash basin!!! The steep stairway made lugging luggage a hassle. Thinner walls allow for overhearing your neighbors' bathroom escapades, which is less than pleasant!!!

The room was cozy and warm, perfect for a chilly evening, and the dining area had a roaring log fire, which set the perfect atmosphere. We enjoyed a meal that was well presented and the portions were just right, not too much to make you uncomfortable, but enough to satisfy.

Wasn’t exactly cheap, but it was still acceptable for what we got.

We had a fantastic time, enjoying hearty meals with stunning views both nights, and our room was super comfy with great scenery! I loved the cozy lounge for some chill time and the excellent breakfast spread to start the day. Though we wished the evening meals stayed open a bit longer, it definitely didn’t ruin our experience! 😊

Our experience at Brotherswater Inn was utterly disappointing. The staff seemed unwelcoming and dismissive, making us feel like a nuisance rather than guests. The kitchen's early last orders were ridiculous. we arrived just before 8pm and were met with hostility instead of hospitality.

I had an awesome time with my friends! We enjoyed the nearby hiking trails and Sykeside campsite, which is perfect for outdoor fun. The breakfast here is great, especially for only £8.50. The staff was friendly and made sure we felt welcome throughout our stay.

We did run into some trouble with the kitchen closing earlier than expected, which was a bit frustrating after a long day of adventuring. Make sure to check the kitchen hours before heading out for the evening.

It was just a commendable fit for a break on long journey in Patterdale with great value-to-price ratio. The food tasted fine, but we had to eat to sit inside, which felt off. Remember to have plenty of change for parking meters at attractions.
